Every collection case occurs because of an assessment, which may or may not be correct. One of the primary methods for defeating such an action is a thorough analysis of whether the underlying assessment is vulnerable to attack on procedural or substantive grounds. Timely responses are required to protect you from incorrect assessments. Call or email Nicole B. Erickson to review your tax notices to determine the course of action that is right for you.
